  • We are seeking an experienced Exchange Engineer to support a critical Exchange Server upgrade project, transitioning existing Microsoft Exchange 2016 environment to Exchange 2019. This is a hands-on technical role focusing on planning, deploying, and optimising the new Exchange infrastructure while ensuring a smooth, secure, and disruption-free migration.

    • Support the upgrade project from Exchange 2016 to Exchange 2019, including design, deployment, and post-migration support.

    • Perform environment assessments, health checks, and readiness validation to ensure successful migration.

    • Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and support teams to develop a comprehensive migration strategy, cutover plan, and rollback procedures.

    • Configure and optimise Exchange 2019 Servers, including high availability, database availability groups (DAGs), mail routing, and client access services.

    • Proven experience administering and upgrading Microsoft Exchange Server environments (2016/2019).

    • Hands-on experience delivering Exchange 2016 to 2019 migrations in medium to large enterprise environments.

    • Strong knowledge of Exchange Server infrastructure, including DAG, CAS, transport services, and mail routing.

    • Experience with mailbox migration tools and native PowerShell scripts for Exchange management.

    • Familiarity with Active Directory, DNS, and certificate management related to Exchange services.

    • Solid understanding of email security standards and best practices.

    • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
