This is a platform-focused role, responsible for the administration, optimisation, and governance of a major Power BI estate supporting approximately 200 dashboards and 2,000+ users across the organisation.

This is not a hands-on dashboard development role. Instead, the successful candidate will take ownership of the Power BI platform, ensuring performance, stability, governance, and best practice across the wider user and developer community.

    • Manage permissions, security groups, and workspace access models

    • Monitor and optimise platform capacity using Fabric Capacity metrics

    • Analyse Activity Logs and Log Analytics data for auditing and troubleshooting

    • Proactively identify and resolve platform, usage, and performance issues

    • Support existing developer teams and drive platform best practice adoption

    • Lead proof-of-concept (POC) initiatives and contribute to architectural design patterns

    • Strong experience administering enterprise-level Power BI environments

    • Deep understanding of Power BI governance, deployment, and platform management

    • Experience with Microsoft Fabric, Azure DevOps, and Power BI REST APIs

    • Strong knowledge of capacity management, security, and workspace governance

    • Experience supporting large user communities and high-volume dashboard estates

    • Excellent stakeholder management and proactive problem-solving skills

    • Previous experience within large-scale enterprise environments, ideally within financial services
